    Anant Maheshwari

    President, Strategy and President & CEO, Global Regions

    Anant Maheshwari serves as President, Strategy and President & CEO of Honeywell’s Global Regions. In the strategy role, he drives Honeywell's overall strategy and offering management capabilities. In the Global Regions role, he has broad responsibilities for leading Honeywell’s business across a diverse set of geographies that include Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

    Anant joined Honeywell from Microsoft, where he served as President and CEO of Microsoft India. In this role, he was responsible for Microsoft’s overall business and presence in India, leading engagement with policy makers, customers, business partners and industry leaders. During his time in the position, he led Microsoft India’s transformation to become the fastest growth geography for the company, setting the company’s benchmarks for new business models.

    Earlier in his career Anant was previously with Honeywell, joining the company in 2004 and holding a series of senior leadership roles in which he launched new business lines and led mature business portfolios. He served as President of Honeywell India from 2014 to 2016, with overall responsibility for one of Honeywell’s key growth markets within its High Growth Region strategy. Prior to Honeywell, Anant spent six years at global management consultancy McKinsey & Company.

    Anant holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where he graduated as an industry scholar in 1998. He also graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, with a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics in 1996.

    He is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He has served on the NASSCOM Executive Committee from 2017-2023, most recently in the role of Chairperson in 2023. He has also served as an independent director on the board of Hindalco Industries from 2021-23.
