Juan Picon

President and CEO, Building Automation

Juan Picon is President and CEO of Honeywell Technologies Building Automation. In this role, he leads a global business focused on helping building owners and operators create safer, more efficient and productive environments through advanced building controls, fire and life safety systems, security solutions, services and software.

Previously, Juan served as President of Building Automation Americas, where he established the new regional organization and delivered strong growth and margin expansion across the business. He also created dedicated customer-facing organizations focused on key verticals including data centers, healthcare and hospitality. He also created dedicated teams serving key verticals, including data centers, healthcare and hospitality. Earlier, he led Honeywell Technologies’ global Fire Life Safety business, with responsibility for strategy, innovation, product development, commercial operations, manufacturing and customer experience.

Juan brings more than 20 years of Honeywell Technologies experience across Building Automation, the company’s former aerospace business and other industrial businesses. During his earlier tenure, he held leadership roles spanning international defense and space, environmental and energy solutions, automated data capture, manufacturing, operations and business development. Before returning to Honeywell Technologies in 2024, Juan held senior executive positions at Sensata Technologies, WESCO Distribution and General Cable, where he led large, complex businesses across the automotive, industrial and distribution sectors.

Juan holds an MBA from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in European Union law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a diploma in business from Centro de Estudios de Comercio in Madrid and a law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean expert and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
