Honeywell Propels Resiliency & Decarbonization Goals at Lugoj, Romania Manufacturing Plant

The Honeywell Life Safety Plant in Lugoj, Romania was chosen to improve energy efficiency, resiliency, and reduce carbon footprint. As part of the One Honeywell initiative, Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) and Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) collaborated to address frequent grid power losses causing plant shutdowns. They also focused on reducing emissions and lowering energy costs. With Honeywell's energy storage solutions, the Lugoj Plant became a virtually self-sustained site.
