Honeywell is awarded Investor of the Year 2015 in the Czech Republic by CzechInvest and the Association for Foreign Investment (AFI) in the category of Research and Development. This is the third time Honeywell won this prestigious award. As in 2013, Honeywell took the top place in the category of Research and Development. In 2009, Honeywell received the Investor of the Year award in the category of Greatest Innovation Potential. The announcement and award ceremony for Investor of the Year 2015 was held in late 2016 as part of a gala evening at Prague's Slovansk√Ω d≈Øm. Honeywell is recognized for its investments in expanding its research and development centre in Brno, Czech Republic, and creating new jobs in the region. Brno is now home to the largest Honeywell research and development centre in all of Europe.
