Honeywell Honored for Leadership in Diversity
New Jersey student leaders spoke about our commitment and unwavering support

NJ LEEP, a college access and success program for high schoolstudents, recently honored AnneMaddenand Honeywell with its 2018 Leadership in the Promotion ofDiversity Award. NJ LEEP has had powerful results, with 100 percent of theirgraduates having been accepted into college.
Honeywell has embarked on a four-year program with NJ LEEP tosupport the class of 2021 through their high school years by providingmentoring, internships, debate prep, exposure to different professions andcareer paths, and activities to develop team building skills. Since theprogram started, students have met with the company’s aerospace and softwareengineers, lawyers, and leaders, and have visited Honeywell’s flight operationsat the Morristown Airport to meet with pilots and learn about flying andaircraft (pictured above).
“Honeywelltaught us about the amazing technology they create and how they use it to helppeople,” said Nikolle, a student at Lafayette Street School in Newark.
Atthe Leadership in Diversity Gala, Anne said, “We are tremendously pleased andhonored to be recognized by an organization that is doing so much to empoweryoung people and help produce a diverse and multi-talented workforce.”
